How did you first get interested in playing live poker?
My father has been playing and watching poker ever since I was a kid, so I have been interested in the game since I was a little kid.
What are your biggest live poker wins, and how many tournaments have you played?
I have pervasive experience in online poker. There are around 10 tournaments behind my back in live poker. My main achievement in live poker at the moment is a prize of 45k€
Does poker help you travel more?
Absolutely.
Do you try to read your opponents at the table?
I’m staying focused, playing my own game. I’m trying to keep the ego away from the game and playing each hand fresh. If I don’t play my hand, I stay silent, look at and learn my opponents’ behavior.
How do you manage your emotions at the table, both when winning and losing?
I’m being very emotional for good and bad. I get disappointed when I lose to a wrong or weird play. But yet, I’m trying to act as a pro.
How do you approach playing tournaments vs. cash games?
I used to be a cash player. Now I prefer tourneys as that is the real game. I meditate a few minutes before, do gym training, and eat healthily to keep my mind clean.
What memorable situations have you had at the poker table?
It was a bubble at the High Roller of the IPC where I took first place. UTG+1 opens, and I call with pocket tens in the button. Flop came 8-6-3 rainbow. He checked, and I jammed. He snapped with aces, and River was 10.
Do you have any rituals or superstitions that you follow while playing?
Not really.
What do you think about the future of online poker and live poker?
I think it’s the best game in the world. I hope it will go in the right direction. But I prefer live poker, which differs significantly from online poker.

Kimhi’s story inspires anyone looking to pursue a career in the poker world, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from his experiences and expertise. We wish him continued success in his future endeavors both on and off the felt.
