How did you get into playing poker?

All my life, I was an excellent student in physics-math class at a technological university, so I had a good theoretical background. My hobby was intellectual games, which made me “gambling” and result oriented))

Do you prefer playing online or live poker? Why?

Offline. I like the atmosphere of casinos, holding cards in my hands, learning tells of players, and having nice conversations.

Casino games: Social Interaction is what I love. One of the significant advantages of playing poker at a casino is the opportunity for social interaction. You get to play against real people, engage in conversations, observe their body language, and experience the excitement and camaraderie of a live game.

Casinos often host live poker tournaments and events, offering the chance to compete against skilled players and potentially win significant prizes. Participating in such events can be thrilling and rewarding, and they can also provide opportunities for networking and meeting fellow poker enthusiasts.

What is your biggest poker win (live and online)?

In the future, I hope this year I will bring some good news) for now, 3.5 k in a live tournament in the Main event BPT.

How do you handle the pressure and mind games at the poker table?

With great pleasure )) Handling pressure and mind games at the poker table can be challenging, but with some strategies and mindset, I can improve your ability to cope.

I concentrate on my strategy and decision-making process rather than getting caught up in mind games or trying to outplay my opponents mentally. I always trust my instincts: Poker is a game that involves both skill and intuition. Trust your instincts when making decisions. I try to remain aware of own body language and try to control it. I always avoid giving away any signs of weakness or strength through any gestures, facial expressions, or betting patterns, and most importantly, proper bankroll management is essential to handle the pressure of the game.

How do you balance your poker playing with other aspects of your life?

Our life is game)

I determine my priorities and allocate time and energy accordingly. I identify the important areas of life, such as family, work, education, and leisure activities, and make sure I do devote adequate attention to each of them. Poker should be seen as a part of overall life plan rather than dominating every aspect. Further, I communicate openly with my family, friends, and loved ones about my poker playing and its importance to me. I ensure they understand the commitments and time I must dedicate to the game.

Have you ever had to deal with any gender-related challenges or biases in the poker world?

No.

How do you manage your bankroll and handle the financial aspect of poker?

I set a budget for my poker sessions and avoid playing with the money I can’t afford to lose. Having a well-managed bankroll reduces financial stress for me and my backers and allows me to make decisions based on strategy rather than desperation.

Proper bankroll management is crucial to withstand losing streaks without jeopardizing my financial stability. I always play within my or backer’s bankroll limits to ensure that losses are manageable. If losses do occur, Instead of dwelling on bad beats, I use them as an opportunity for learning and self-improvement. I always analyze my gameplay objectively to identify any potential mistakes or areas for improvement. This self-reflection has always helped me refine the strategy and make adjustments to minimize future losses.

How do you approach reading your opponents and making strategic decisions during a game?

As humans, we are hardwired to look out for and recognize patterns in visual or auditory information coming our way. This is why we can instantly recognize our favorite songs when they are played on the radio just off the intro beats and lines. Similarly, in fighting games, you unconsciously recognize your opponent’s rhythm and patterns of play as distinctly as you would the different instruments in Louis Armstrongs’ “What a Wonderful World”. The process of pattern recognition involves matching information you are currently receiving with information you have already experienced. This is why when a teacher repeats the numbers “1 — 2 — 3 — 4 — 5” several times to children, and they hear the sequence “1 — 2 — 3 — 4 . . . ” once again, the children will instinctively say “5!!”. Pattern recognition allows us to predict and expect what is coming next.

While it might be relatively easy to identify battle tactics, habits and strategies as a spectator or during reflection after a battle, doing so as an active(live) participant in battle takes a great deal of composure, experience and competence.

How do you handle losing streaks or bad beats?

With a glass of champagne)
It’s a poker. Working moments. I don’t feel tilted anymore. Distance will give me back what I deserve.

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned from playing poker?

Emotional control is vital because poker is a game that involves both skill and luck.

It’s easy to become emotionally charged when faced with wins, losses, bad beats, or high-pressure situations. Allowing emotions to dictate a decision-making can lead to poor choices and negatively impact your overall performance, and even cause one to blow out their account and lose trust with backers if any are involved. Patience and discipline are fundamental virtues in poker. They allow one to make rational decisions, avoid impulsive actions, and stick to your strategic game plan.
