Shoichiro Tamaki, the eventual champion, entered the final table with a commanding chip lead and his sights set on the coveted first-place prize money and the golden lion trophy. Despite facing equally determined opponents, Tamaki’s skill and determination carried him to victory.
In a testament to the intense competition, the final three players chose to make an ICM (Independent Chip Model) deal, leaving ₩26,347,000 (approximately $20,000) and the prestigious title up for grabs.
